Operation Snow Drop is a non-profit organisation which helps uplift, empower, and educate disadvantaged South African communities by initiating and partaking in a variety of individual and collaborative efforts. Through our charitable work we ensure that individuals both young and old are nourished, clothed, and have access to primary, secondary, and post-secondary education.

Programs for Students
Operation Snow Drop feeds hundreds of students in schools like Tlakula High School and other surrounding schools daily. We believe that each student must be well-fed and nourished in order to focus and excel in his or her studies.
We are proud to have sponsored several individuals so that they have the financial assistance they need to further their education and pursue meaningful employment in the future. Our sponsored students have gone on to secure impressive degrees in Engineering, Business, and other areas of study.
Programs for Communities
Our organisation regularly provides impoverished communities with essential everyday items, including clothing, shoes, and school supplies. We regularly provide communities and nursing homes with food hampers and food packets which include fresh produce, meat, bread, biscuits, and more.
Moreover, every Thursday in Geduld and in both the Never-Never and Hollywood informal settlements our volunteers are present to hand out not only clothing, but also hot soups and curries, sandwiches, fresh fruit, and other donations to help support these communities. We also hand out dignity packs which include sanitary napkins and undergarments to young women and others in need on a regular basis.
Business Programs
Our partnership with FNB has allowed us to open two bakeries, one in the Tlakula High School and another in the Far East Rand Hospital. These bakeries not only produce hundreds of loaves of bread on a weekly basis, but they are designed to teach formerly unemployable individuals the skills they need to find gainful employment.
Other Programs
Operation Snow Drop is actively involved in a number of initiatives on an ongoing basis. Recently we were proud to have been asked to upgrade the paediatric ward of the Far East Rand Hospital. Our organisation regularly sets up HIV clinics in South African communities, and each year we look forward to throwing our Christmas celebrations which include generous food hampers, toys for the kids, and a visit from Santa Claus.
